Metroid Prime: un rumor indica l’arrivo della remastered, anche per Metroid Prime 2 e 3

Nelle scorse ore sono emersi dei rumor riguardante il possibile arrivo delle remastered di Metroid Prime, Metroid Prime 2 e Metroid Prime 3 su Nintendo Switch.
Secondo quanto affermato da Jeff Grubb del sito Giant Bomb, Nintendo sta preparando l’arrivo di una remastered per il primissimo Metroid Prime, che verrà rilasciata su Nintendo Switch entro le prossime vacanze natalizie.
Secondo il leak, anche Metroid Prime 2 e Metroid Prime 3 avranno lo stesso trattamento del primo capitolo, ma verranno pubblicate solamente nei mesi successivi alla remastered del primo, quindi in un secondo momento, probabilmente anche per adattare i controlli di movimento per renderli compatibili al massimo al giroscopio dei Joy-con (come fu per The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD)
“I can say that I’ve been told pretty definitively that Metroid Prime Remastered is going to be one of their big holiday games. In the past this is something I’ve heard is in the works, they’ve had things happening with that game. Now it’s like I’ve been told that their plans are to release that game this holiday, I think almost certainly to line up with the 20th anniversary in November. That’s happening and they need to tell us when that release date is.”
“The other scoop here is that those games are also coming. They’re also pretty much done it sounds like, but Nintendo being Nintendo is going to hold on to them and will likely drop them later along the road. However Nintendo decides and what order to release their games, they are going to do that. But they are going to do it separately it sounds like. And Metroid Prime 1, my understanding is that’s getting the big remaster treatment, and then Metroid Prime 2 and Metroid Prime 3 are sort of getting – they’ll probably get like updated controls and things like that – but they’re not getting quite the same overhaul that Metroid Prime 1 is getting.
Ricordiamo infine che i titoli hanno già avuto un loro secondo momento di gloria, con la Metroid Prime Trilogy, raccolta abbastanza pigra (con solo il supporto dei Wiimote per i capitoli Gamecube), rilasciata nel 2009 su Nintendo Wii e dal 29 gennaio 2015 in versione digitale per il Nintendo eShop di Wii U, contenente tutti e tre i Metroid Prime.
