Super Mario Bros. Wonder: Nintendo ha investito molti dei costi di sviluppo sulle animazioni

Il producer ha rilasciato nuove dichiarazioni in merito allo sviluppo di Super Mario Bros. Wonder, in arrivo settimana prossima su Nintendo Switch.

Intervistato da NPR, il producer, Takashi Tezuka (celebre amico e collaboratore storico del buon Shigeru Miyamoto) ha affermato che Nintendo ha riversato molti dei costi di sviluppo nelle animazioni di Super Mario Bros. Wonder, e il risultato si è visto eccome, specialmente nei Direct e trailer.

Tendenzialmente infatti, le risorse economiche investite da parte della Casa di Kyoto, sono spesso focalizzati solamente (o quasi) sul gameplay vero e proprio, ma il team ha voluto creare un qualcosa per i giocatori (fan di Mario), che fosse simile a ciò che si è visto all’interno di Super Mario Bros. il Film.

“Traditionally, our development costs have gone into the gameplay experience itself. Of course that’s absolutely essential. But this time we really wanted to pour some of that into the animations. … People who are coming from the Mario movie are going to see that and think ‘this is what Mario does, this is how Mario moves,’ and we wanted them to experience something similar to that.”

Il nuovo capitolo della serie 3D del baffuto idraulico italiano, sarà disponibile dal prossimo 20 ottobre 2023 sui Nintendo Switch europei ed americani.
