INFORMAZIONI SUL GIOCO

Shinigami Hime to Ishokan no Kaibutsu is the latest entry in the “picture book” series by Nippon Ichi Software that explores the interactions between humans and monsters, following The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince and The Cruel King and the Great Hero. As with the previous titles, the character design and worldview are handled by Sayaka Oda, with Kento Jobana (known for his work on Disgaea 7: Vows of the VirtuelessBar Stella Abyss, etc.) responsible for the scenario.

This game tells a story of heart-to-heart connections and salvation surrounding Mono, a girl who visits the medical facility “Ishokan” in hopes of saving her older sister, who has been afflicted by the terrifying “Shinigami Disease”; Melhendia, a goat-like creature who seeks to exploit her; and the girls who the disease have transformed into strange creatures.

The picture book-like expressions with analog illustrations that have defined the series return, while the deliberate use of monochrome fields sets it apart from previous titles, creating a world that is eerie and strange, yet still somehow beautiful.

Players will be able to interact with the world of the picture book, “destroying” or “transforming” it, offering a fresh and unique gameplay experience.
