Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope: avere Bowser nel roster è un sogno che diventà realta per gli sviluppatori

Qualche ora fa sono emerse dichiarazioni in merito ai personaggi inclusi nel roster di Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, in arrivo su Nintendo Switch.

Il producer Xavier Manzanares, ha infatti commentato in un’intervista recente con NintendoEverything, in merito ai sogni del team di sviluppo verso la collaborazione con Nintendo, magari legati anche ad altre serie che non riguardano l’universo di Super Mario.

Manzanares ha affermato di aver riflettuto insieme al team al possibile utilizzo di molti personaggi Nintendo già con il primo Mario e Rabbids, ed averne uno carismatico e di spessore come Bowser giocabile nel roster in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, è stato già un sogno diventato realtà per loro.

Senza considerare poi anche la presenza di Donkey Kong, giocabile all’interno dell’espansione aggiuntiva del primo capitolo, Mario + Rabbids: Donkey Kong Adventure.

“It’s funny because we have tons of dreams. We started to dream in 2014 when we thought about Mario, but obviously we had a lot of other characters that we love from the Nintendo universe, but then when we decided to really focus on the Mario and the Rabbids and Mario and friends, that was really the big focus and going for that direction. Then with Donkey Kong, it was a dream come true because we started to look into the Donkey Kong lore that we love, and we could do it. It was, you know, proof that Nintendo was open to deciding and discussing other IPs if it makes sense, if it’s making sense for the brand and making sense for the genre, etc.

With Sparks of Hope, we’re adding Bowser, which for us already is huge and Rabbid Rosalina which is a Rabbid version of their characters, so for us this was the big focus. Right now as we didn’t finish the game yet, we’re truly focused on that part already and making sure that for example Bowser is fitting perfectly – or unperfectly – with the Rabbids, you know the crew and the team itself, so that’s already a dream come true for us – having Bowser in the game is quite big for the team.”

Stavolta infatti, ad accompagnare nella nuova avventura Mario, Peach e Luigi, e le loro controparti Rabbids, saranno infatti le new entry: Bowser, Rabbid Rosalinda e il misterioso Edge.

Come successo con il DLC di Donkey Kong nel primo Mario + Rabbids, anche il Re dei Koopa, antagonista principale nel capitolo originale, sarà infatti utilizzabile dal giocatore all’interno di Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope.

Il sequel della collaborazione tra il mondo di Super Mario e i Rabbids, sarà pubblicato il prossimo 20 2022 sui Nintendo Switch europei e americani.
