The story follows Issei Hyoudou, a lecherous high school student who is tragically killed by his first date on their very first night out. However, he is soon resurrected as a devil by the beautiful and high-ranking demon princess, Rias Gremory. Now bound to her service as a low-ranking devil, Issei must navigate the dangerous supernatural underworld, protect his new master, and climb the demonic ranks—all while trying to build his ultimate dream harem within the Kuoh Academy Occult Research Club. From a gameplay perspective, players will experience deep visual novel dialogue choices to build bonds with fan-favorite heroines like Rias, Akeno, Asia, and Koneko. These choices build up energy for the strategic, turn-based battle phases. The combat climaxes in the game’s most infamous feature: the “Dress Break” mechanic, where strategic attacks allow players to strip away the opponent’s armor and clothing to secure a definitive victory in boss fights.
