[Season 4] Preliminary Ranked Matches Begin!
The new rank system will be added to the game in the 12/10/2023 PST | 12/11/2023 CET update.
As a part of this system, Preliminary Ranked Matches will be held during the Season 4 period.
While preliminary ranked matches are being held, players will receive rank points based on the medals obtained on the results screen after online matches.
Once a certain amount of rank points have been earned, the player will be promoted to a new rank.
There are different ranks for Survivors and Raiders, and each is calculated separately.
*C1 is the starting rank, and Z5 is the highest.
**For Raiders, the rank is applied to all unlocked Raider characters.
Medals obtained on the results screen will award rank points in the amounts shown on the table below.
Details about the rank points required to reach each rank can be found on the following table.
In addition, minus points (base points) will be applied to matches played at rank A1 and higher.
Once a match has ended, players who did not acquire the necessary amount of rank points may have their rank lowered.
*Rank promotions will award a certain amount of rank points in order to prevent the risk of immediate demotion in the next match.
*Rank promotions for matches played at rank B5 or lower will also award a certain amount of rank points.
*Rank demotions will result in the decrease of rank points by a certain amount in order to prevent immediate promotion in the next match.
In order to prevent the unfair reduction of rank points in matches played at rank A1 or higher due to causes such as forced disconnects by the host shortly after a match begins, special conditions will be applied. When all of the following conditions are met, the acquired rank points will be 0.
1. Adding the base points to the rank points (determined according to medals obtained on the results screen) results in a negative value.
2. The match ends within 10 minutes, with the player not being defeated. (see detailed explanation of conditions below)

・Successfully start up the super time machine.
・Defeat the Raider.
・Escape using the escape time machine.
▼Conditions for Raiders:
・Defeat all Survivors.
・The match time runs out.
・Survivors escape via the escape time machine.
About Matches During the Preliminary Ranked Match Period
For online matches played during the preliminary ranked match period, matchmaking will be performed based on players’ Survivor rank regardless of their selected role.
Players will be preferentially matched with others of a similar rank, but note that discrepancies may occur depending on matchmaking conditions.
About Starting Rank for Preliminary Ranked Matches
Players who meet the following conditions before the start of the 12/10/2023 17:00 (PST) | 12/11/2023 02:00 (CET) maintenance will be awarded the starting rank of A1.For Players at Survivor level of 100 or higher:
➡ Start at Survivor rank A1.For Players with one or more Raiders at level 100:
➡ Start at Raider rank A1.

Following the end of the 12/11/2023 maintenance – until the end of Season 4 (Sched.)
Rewards:
Ranks for Survivors and Raiders are each calculated separately, and players will receive rewards after the event period ends according to the highest rank reached during the preliminary ranked match period.
