More Feline Adventures Await in the Cat Quest III Tavern Tales Update – Available Now!
[London – 26 June 2025] – A meow-velous free update is now available for Cat Quest III players on Nintendo Switch™, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC (via Steam), adding an exciting new set of challenges sure to test even the saltiest of sea dogs… or cats! Each boss battle now has curious new modifiers with increasing difficulty to add new challenges to the deadly encounters; the Boar King battle now has meteorites rain down from the sky, while Captain Meowtallika’s concert now has various electrical pulses filling the screen. For each new challenge the player overcomes, they’ll be rewarded with a brand-new companion, such as Beakon the fearless parrot who swoops down on enemies, dealing damage to all in its path. Players who overcome all of the game’s new encounters will even discover a secret encounter to put all their skills to the test. New players wanting to become daring feline swashbucklers can also pick the game up at a reduced price for a limited time, with the game’s price reduced by 40% until 10 July, 2025 on Steam. Today’s new game update follows the recent announcement that Cat Quest III will also release on iPhone, iPad, and Mac on 8 August 2025, one year after the game’s original launch on PC and consoles. Fans can pre-order the game on the App Store and look forward to all of the content of the PC and console versions of the game, including today’s Tavern Tales update, plus new features like full touch screen control support and Game Center compatibility.
