Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, Davide Soliani vorrebbe un nuovo titolo di Rayman

Qualche ora fa sono emerse delle dichiarazioni riguardanti Rayman, personaggio giocabile in Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope.
Durante un’intervista con Nintendo Everything, il creative director, Davide Soliani, ha espresso interesse nello sviluppare un nuovo capitolo della serie di Rayman, attualmente ferma da ben 10 anni, dal lancio dell’ultima entry, Rayman Legends (uscito anche su Wii U e Switch).
Davide Soliani ha infatti espresso un notevole interesse nel poter lavorare su un nuovo gioco di Rayman, che non fosse solo un’apparizione banale da Guest Star, in un titolo non suo.
Il director ha anche aggiunto che gli piacerebbe vedere Rayman in un capitolo di Super Smash Bros. e Mario Kart, ma questo sarebbe possibile solo grazie all’approvazione di Nintendo (Rayman è apparso come trofeo in Smash Bros. per Wii U e come spirito in Smash Bros. Ultimate.)
Se non lo sapete infatti, Soliani fu parte del team che ha lavorato alla versione Game Boy Color di Rayman nel 2000, spinto da ciò nel voler riportare in auge la melanzana viola, cogliendo l’opportunità di portare avanti la serie, se Ubisoft glielo permetesse.
If I had the opportunity, I would be crazy to not take that chance. To be honest, yes. I mean, Rayman is the type of game that has no realistic element. And because there is no realism, everything that you create in the game comes from your fantasy and the fantasy of the team. And so, [everything] from a chair to a table to an enemy to the environment is a form of art, is creating something from scratch. So to me as a developer, it’s the pinnacle of all the possibilities. You can go crazy and create your own stuff, as we did in Sparks of Hope. I think I would be crazy to not take that opportunity if given the chance.
Ricordiamo che Rayman è disponibile come personaggio giocabile nel DLC 3 di Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, compreso nel Season Pass, che includerà anche nuove storie aggiuntive, personaggi, missioni e battaglie.
Il sequel della collaborazione tra il mondo di Super Mario e i Rabbids, è stato pubblicato lo scorso 20 2022 sui Nintendo Switch europei e americani.
