- “Is it wrong to try to pick up girls in a dungeon?”
Based on the light novel of the same name by Fujino Omori, which has sold over 17 million copies in total, this story depicts the adventures and growth of a young boy, Bell Cranel, set in a huge city with a large underground labyrinth (= dungeon).
The first season of the anime was released in April 2015, the second season in July 2019, the third season in October 2020, and the fourth season “New Chapter: Labyrinth Edition” in July 2022, and in January 2023. “Fukasho Calamity Edition” will be broadcast.
The production of the 5th season was announced at the 10th installment of the original work’s 10th anniversary project, “Westa Party in Bonfire Hall”, held on November 4, 2023. Broadcast is scheduled for fall 2024.
Other developments include the anime adaptation of Sword Oratoria (2017), which depicts a side story of the main story, and the theatrical release of a story entirely written by Fujino Omori (2019).
