Il nuovo video della rubrica Game of the Sunday – Il gioco della domenica, vedrà questa volta protagonista Kirby Mass Attack.
Il platform action della pallina rosa di HAL Laboratory, è stata pubblicata in Europa il 28 ottobre del 2011 in esclusiva per Nintendo DS.
Come saprete da ormai molti mesi a questa parte, alcune domeniche verrà proposto un nuovo video di “Game of the Sunday”, che troverete poi nella playlist linkata in video di seguito.
The game begins with Kirby visiting the Popopo Islands, located in the southern part of Planet Popstar, and taking a nap. While sleeping, he is attacked by the evil Necrodeus, leader of the Sprites gang, who splits him into ten Kirbys, each with only a tenth of the original’s strength. Necrodeus kills all the weakened Kirbys except one, who manages to escape. A star then appears, Kirby’s Heroic Heart, which Kirby follows everywhere, allowing him to fly short distances. The remaining Kirby sets out to find Necrodeus, recovering the other nine by eating fruit. Unfortunately, Necrodeus’s henchmen, the Sprites, guard the various islands (worlds), and whenever Kirby travels from island to island, only one remains. After defeating Supreme Skull, they discover that to reach the island where Necrodeus resides, they must collect all the Rainbow Medals found in the levels of all the islands. However, Necrodeus’s henchmen, intimidated by Kirby’s strength, have fled. Eventually, the 10 Kirbys manage to make Necrodeus’s island appear thanks to the power of the Rainbow Coins, and there they must face the bosses of all the islands. Finally, they reach Necrodeus, who devours the magical scepter, the only thing capable of restoring Kirby to his original form. The 10 Kirbys confront and destroy it, thus obtaining the coveted scepter and becoming one again. Kirby’s thought, once he had returned to his former self, on his way home is a beautiful one: “After all, the stars are only so bright because of the darkness that surrounds them…”
