Pochi istanti fa abbiamo pubblicato un video gameplay dedicato ad Aooni 2, titolo ora disponibile su Nintendo Switch/2.
Game Studio ha annunciato ufficialmente l’arrivo di Ao Oni 2 su Nintendo Switch, fissando la data di lancio per il prossimo 6 agosto 2026. Il celebre horror RPG, sequel diretto del cult originale, farà il suo debutto sul catalogo digitale di Switch eShop.
La trama principale segue la classica e ansiogena formula della serie: i protagonisti Hiroshi, Takuro, Takeshi e Mika decidono di intrufolarsi in una vecchia scuola abbandonata e chiusa da anni per una prova di coraggio. Dopo aver perso i sensi, si risveglieranno intrappolati all’interno dell’edificio insieme al loro insegnante, inseguiti dal letale e grottesco mostro blu. Per sopravvivere e fuggire, i giocatori dovranno risolvere enigmi e completare quattro macro-aree, potendo scegliere liberamente l’ordine dei livelli (scelta che influenzerà dinamicamente la difficoltà della run).
La grande novità di questa conversione per Nintendo Switch è l’inclusione di un capitolo di storia completamente nuovo intitolato “Ao Oni: Seaside School”. In questa avventura estiva, Hiroshi e il suo gruppo visitano una località balneare e decidono di esplorare una scuola abbandonata nei pressi del loro alloggio. Oltre a una trama legata ai misteri del passato del luogo, questo scenario introdurrà una serie di varianti mutate del mostro originale, alcune delle quali con le sembianze di inquietanti creature marine.
