Director’s Cut Key Features
- This is New! This is the Director’s Cut! – Akiba’s Trip: Undead & Undressed, which was originally released for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita in 2013, returns with new content and its first appearance on Switch. While the game has been refined throughout, it still maintains its atmosphere of “Akihabara overflowing with otaku culture” from the days of summer 2013. Plus, new elements exclusive to the Director’s Cut have been added, allowing even more players to enjoy the game.
- “Kati Route” Added – A new route scenario featuring heroine Kati Raikkonen has been added for the Director’s Cut, which could not be implemented for the game’s original release. This route features a new ending that connects to the future. In the Director’s Cut, the story has been reconstructed based on the original plot to include the “Kati Route,” which leads the story to its true ending. A newly written scenario and newly recorded voice-overs will immerse players into this new story’s world.
- All Existing Downloadable Content Included – All downloadable content costumes and equipment distributed following the original release of Akiba’s Trip: Undead & Undressed are featured in the Director’s Cut, including collaborations with various media and companies. Enjoy exploring Akihabara in unique attire and gear.
Kati Route Story
The “true ending of the story” not told 10 years ago, where the protagonist turns his back on Shizuku to save Kati’s life. The story takes a new turn with the appearance of a new force!
Kati is involved in an incident that causes her “special gene” to awaken. The jokes of her “becoming a real magical girl!?” are short-lived, but Kati learns that if her enormous power is fully awakened, she will die.
There is only one way to save her—to go along with a certain someone and betray Shizuku and the Akihabara Freedom Fighters.
