IRVINE, Calif. – July 31, 2025 – Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. today announced that the hit game DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO is coming to Nintendo Switch™ and Nintendo Switch™2. DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO is developed by Spike Chunsoft, Inc., the developers behind the original DRAGON BALL Z: BUDOKAI TENKAICHI and features faithful recreations of the franchise legendary characters with thrilling fights just like the anime. DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO will be released on November 14, 2025, and pre-orders are now available in Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate Editions. Season pass content will be available at a later date. DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO takes the legendary gameplay of the Budokai Tenkaichi series and raises it to new heights with enhanced mechanics and immersion. Each character’s unique Ki abilities and signature destructive powers are showcased, bringing the anime’s explosive energy to life across every arena. The Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 versions will feature local and online multiplayer and support for motion controls, allowing players to unleash their favorite hero’s attacks using the Joy-Con™ controllers. 
 
Featuring the largest roster in Dragon Ball game history, DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO includes over 180 fighters from Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball Super, Dragon Ball GT, and select Dragon Ball movies – all available in the base game. Each character comes equipped with their own abilities, transformations, and techniques, giving players the chance to explore various matchups and strategies.
