Fire Emblem: Thracia 776 takes place on the continent of Jugdral as a midquel set during the narrative gap of Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War. The story follows Prince Leif of Leonster, who has spent most of his youth running and hiding from the oppressive Grannvale Empire. After his sanctuary in the remote village of Fiana is raided and his close friends are kidnapped, Leif decides he can no longer remain a helpless fugitive. Supported by his loyal guardian Finn and a growing militia, Leif launches a full-scale rebellion to liberate the Munster District from the empire’s tyrannical grip. The rebel army ultimately fights to defeat the corrupt Duke Raydrik and Veld, a high-ranking priest of the dark Loptr Church, in a desperate struggle to reclaim Leif’s rightful homeland.
