Activision e Nintendo hanno ufficializzato il ritorno del franchise di Call of Duty sulle console della casa di Kyoto. La versione di prova di Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 debutterà ufficialmente anche sulla nuova Nintendo Switch 2, segnando una svolta storica per la serie sparatutto.
Il calendario ufficiale prevede due fine settimana di test, con la console Nintendo che entrerà in gioco nella seconda fase:
- 21-25 agosto 2026: Accesso Anticipato riservato a PC, PlayStation 5 e Xbox Series X|S.
- 28 agosto – 1° settembre 2026: Open Beta Globale aperta a tutte le piattaforme, inclusa Nintendo Switch 2.
L’accesso alla Open Beta del secondo weekend sarà gratuito e non richiederà codici di sblocco. Per chi desidera acquistare il gioco completo, i preordini su Nintendo eShop apriranno il 26 agosto 2026.
Il lancio ufficiale di Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 è confermato per il 23 ottobre 2026.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is getting an open beta on Nintendo Switch 2, it’s been announced.
This will be happening during the weekend of August 28. You’ll have until September 1 to participate. Technically, this will be the second beta for the game.
To explain that further, an initial beta will be taking place the prior weekend. However, it is only for those who have pre-ordered the game on PS5, Xbox Series X and S, and PC. Nintendo Switch 2 will not be eligible.
Here’s the rundown on what’s included in the beta:
Get ready to drop into multiple Multiplayer maps and modes, choosing from a wide selection of brand-new Operators, including all the Vault Edition Operators for players who pre-order the Vault Edition, and unlocking as many as 19 different weapons before deploying into everything from small-scale 3v3 skirmishes to massive tactical battles featuring tanks and more. Test your mettle across new and returning modes, from Search & Destroy to the brand-new Kill Block, plus the Training Mobility Course.
Three operators advance through a burning building, led by a heavily armored Operator carrying a rifle.Experience fluid movement and best-in-class ballistics, building your own loadouts with the optional help of Gunny, leveling up as you unlock a wide variety of weapons, Tacticals, Lethals, Field Upgrades, Perks, and Killstreaks.
