Abbiamo l’enorme piacere di mostrarvi oggi in anteprima, il primissimo video di gameplay dedicato a R-Type Dimensions III su Nintendo Switch 2.
Grazie al materiale condiviso da ININ Games, abbiamo potuto testare in azione il remake del leggendario sparatutto fantascientifico sulla nuova e attesissima console di Nintendo.
Il titolo debutterà ufficialmente in versione digitale il prossimo 19 maggio 2026, mentre l’edizione fisica arriverà l’11 agosto 2026.
Sviluppato da KRITZELKRATZ 3000 in collaborazione con Tozai e Irem, questo terzo capitolo della linea Dimensions reimmagina completamente lo storico R-Type III: The Third Lightning. Abbiamo analizzato da vicino il comparto tecnico, che sfrutta la maggiore potenza di Nintendo Switch 2 per offrire asset 3D totalmente ricostruiti da zero, un sistema di illuminazione moderno e animazioni fluide per i giganteschi boss dell’Impero Bydo.
Ecco le caratteristiche principali che abbiamo confermato durante la nostra prova:
- Switch Grafico Istantaneo: Passaggio in tempo reale dalla classica pixel art 2D alla nuova grafica 3D rimasterizzata.
- Telecamere 3D: Abbiamo testato l’inquadratura sia in modalità “normale” che nella dinamica e spettacolare prospettiva “crazy”.
- Co-op Locale Avanzata: Modalità cooperativa a due giocatori arricchita da inedite meccaniche di punteggio e sopravvivenza.
- Filtro CRT e Accessibilità: Opzioni per simulare i vecchi schermi a tubo catodico e comandi completamente personalizzabili.
